DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS & ENGAGEMENT INTERN
Think-Film Impact Production is a rapidly emerging young company doing cutting-edge work at the intersection of film and policy. Our unique work model harnesses the dynamic power of visual storytelling to bring social and political issues to the highest levels of attention and we have run multiple successful impact campaigns at national, regional and international level.
We are seeking a talented and energetic intern who is passionate about social justice and eager to use their skills in digital communication to grow our online presence and bring new levels of exposure to our creative film projects. Working within a small, close-knit team, you will gain high-level experience in public policy across UK, EU and UN arenas, adding real value to our impact campaigns while helping us grow.
> Monitor and update all digital channels including website, email and social media
> Monitor relevant press and news opportunities
> Contribute to digital engagement strategies, active in seeking opportunities to share, raise the profile and promote the activities, events and vision of Think-Film, using your creative instincts to grow our audience and increase our stakeholder reach
> Create and curate original, engaging written and visual content for impact campaigns and general public outreach including videos and graphics
> Digital performance, analytics and trends reporting
> Attend and record meetings and events, including representing Think-Film in high level political arenas
> Administrative and other necessary tasks as they arise
> Opportunity for the right candidate to lead on full website creative redevelopment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
> Possess a keen interest and curiosity in social justice and policy, understand the importance of strong communications in a film-based advocacy and campaigning context
> Demonstrable experience of using digital skills to achieve advocacy, campaigns and/or fundraising objectives
> Experience working across a range of digital channels, including social media, photography, video, website CMS and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
> Experience of delivering on-brand engaging content and visual assets for different audiences across a range of channels, including blogs, videos and graphics
> Able to monitor trends and identify creative opportunities to advance campaign and business objectives through digital and other communications
> Positive attitude working independently and as part of a small team
> Detail-oriented, ability to work to deadline and manage multiple, competing priorities
> Commitment to Think-Film values
> Able to work evenings and weekends if required
Our internship provides a unique mix of film & policy experiences. It is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to important issue campaigns and boost the digital channels and exposure of a high-impact company working at the top levels of film and policy. You will learn from our network of film marketing and campaign experts and produce compelling digital content for a range of high-level stakeholders. You will build a portfolio of experience creating and sharing compelling visual content and using narratives to drive forward tangible change.
CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT
Temporary six-month contract, with possibility for extension depending on performance review and company needs.
28 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 09:30-16:30)
National Minimum Wage appointment.
20 days annual leave (pro rata) plus UK bank holidays.

The position is based remotely with occasional meetings/events in London and Brussels (not expected until mid-2021 given Covid-19 restrictions).
